The Ruddie Memorial Youth Foundation (RMYF) aims to identify and disseminate innovative and effective practices for helping underprivileged youth reach their full potential. The Foundation accomplishes its mission by offering three types of grants grants to United States 501(C)(3) nonprofit youth organizations based in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Madison, Milwaukee, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, DC.
Evaluation Grants fund the evaluation of innovative methods in helping youth reach their full potential. The purpose of these grants is to help identify innovative methods that are effective. ($5,000-$25,000)
Replication Grants fund the replication of methods that a RMYF-funded outcome evaluation demonstrated to be effective in helping youth to reach their full potential. The purpose of Replication Grants is to expand the use of innovative and effective programs serving youth. (Only available to former RMYF Evaluation Grantees) ($5,000-$30,000)
Dissemination Grants fund the diffusion of practices that RMYF-funded outcome evaluation has shown to be effective in helping youth reach their full potential. These grants fund, for example, conference presentations, articles, Websites, consultations and other methods for “getting the word out” on a newly-discovered effective practice. ($5,000-$30,000) (Only available to former RMYF Grantees)
