RMYF helps assess the effectiveness of innovative youth programs offered by small or medium nonprofit organizations (operating budget under $5million) through its Evaluation Grants. These grants range from $5,000 - $25,000 towards evaluating the outcomes that the identified innovative program or service has on youth. On rare occasions, RMYF offers Evaluation Grants to large nonprofit organizations. However, large nonprofits have to make a particularly strong case on how the program or service they wish to evaluate is innovative and why its existing funders have not funded the evaluation. RMYF Replication Grants aim to help replicate innovative youth programs that RMYF funded evaluation(s) (What do we mean by evaluation?) have already shown to be effective. These grants range from $5,000 - $30,000 and can be used to grow or replicate an innovative program. Only innovative programs that can demonstrate their effectiveness, through an RMYF Evaluation Grant, are eligible for Replication Grants. Furthermore, a strong preference is given to small or medium-sized nonprofit organizations (operating budget under $5million).

Only innovative programs that can demonstrate their effectiveness, through an RMYF Evaluation Grant, are eligible for Dissemination Grants.
